  Stopped here en route from the Northeast to Devon. Prices were fair but nothing else was any good. The bar staff completely ignored me then were offhand when they finally took my order. Waited over half an hour before asking when food was likely to arrive. As we were told it would be 5 more minutes, we waited longer. Having asked again twice more, we had no more time to wait after 50 minutes, so we asked for a refund on the food - at which point we discovered we had also been charged incorrectly when we ordered. The staff claimed that they were very busy, but there was little evidence of this where we were sitting: there was a lot of running around but very little actual work appeared to be done. Avoid this place like the plague. According to the helpful man in the Tesco café, the only place in Ashby worth eating at is the W********* pub.
